What constitutes an emergency?
The following situations require immediate medical attention:

Inability to urinate

Trouble breathing

Hit by car

Attacked by dog
-
Collapse
-
Overheating
-
Loss of consciousness
-
Convulsing
-
Poisoning
-
Bleeding
-
Suddenly bloated
-
Suddenly very ill
-
Eye injury
-
Hard labor for more than 1 hour.
If you are not sure if your cat needs emergency treatment please call us. We are happy to answer any of your questions or concerns.
In the event of an emergency during our normal office hours please call ahead if possible and proceed directly to our practice. For after hours emergencies, we advise that you contact one of the pet emergency centers shown below.
